They'll find the invitation in their Roam account. It expires after seven days.

Removing a member ends their account access. Active public links and downloaded copies can still be used.

A little help getting started.

Start anywhere

Add a city and country. Photos, notes, and dates are optional. If you only remember the month or year, that's enough.

Make a trip together

Create a trip, then invite a companion using their Roam username. They accept in their own account. Contributors add and edit their own memories; viewers can only read. The owner can curate the whole trip.

Know where your memories are

A saved memory is in your account. A draft stays on this browser and device until you save it. Clearing browser data removes drafts. Keep original photos: journal copies are resized.

Your privacy

Unfiled memories start private. You can publish a reviewed selection of your own memories through Timeline privacy, or make that timeline private again. Everyone accepted into a trip can see its memories and photos. Use the trip selector deliberately before saving. Trip owners can also publish a keepsake that anyone with its link can see. The map shows countries, not exact photo locations.

Keep your sign-in details

Use your username and password, or Google when available. To connect Google to an existing journal, sign in with your username and open your account settings. Password recovery is not available yet.
